Getting to Brittany

Situated at the westernmost tip of France, Brittany is easy to get to by land, sea and air.

Rennes is under 90 minutes away from the centre of Paris by high-speed train, and 2 hours and 38 minutes from Paris Charles de Gaulle, when you step off the plane. If you’re looking to go straight to the coast, Saint Malo & Saint Brieuc are one of the closest beaches to the French capital, just two and a quarter hours away by train.

By air, Brittany is served by Rennes, Dinard, Brest, Lorient and Nantes airports, with direct flights from the UK, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy and Canada, and connections worldwide. By sea, from Portsmouth, Plymouth and Cork, Brittany Ferries travels to Brittany, Saint-Malo and Roscoff. And last not but least, by car, there is 350 km of motorway between Rennes and Paris. Drivers will appreciate the fact that Brittany’s regional expressways are toll-free. Welcome to Brittany!
